What cookies do
Cookies are small files stored by a website. Similar browser technologies, including local storage, can remember a setting between visits. They can support core functions, preferences or optional measurement. This website currently uses local storage for the cookie-choice state and does not run analytics or advertising technology.
| Category | Purpose | Example | Duration | Control |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Core functionality | Cookie preference | Session / persistent | Required |
| Analytics | Usage measurement | Analytics identifier | Varies | Optional |
| Functional | Remember preferences | Display settings | Varies | Optional |
The Analytics and Functional rows describe categories generally. No analytics identifier is implemented on this site, and no optional functional cookie is currently set. If that changes, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before deployment.
Your choices
Use Accept All, Reject Non-Essential or Preferences in the banner. The current banner stores the choice locally so it does not appear on every page. Rejecting non-essential storage does not prevent access to the guides or contact form.
Browser controls
You can delete stored data through your browser settings. In most browsers, open Settings or Preferences, select Privacy or Site Data, search for this domain and remove its stored data. You can also configure browsers to block cookies or notify you before storage is created. Blocking all storage may affect preference handling but should not remove the editorial pages.
Third-party content
Some editorial images are requested from Picsum. Loading an external image can expose basic connection information to that service. We do not use those images to place readable text over photographs, and we do not control the external provider’s policies. Contact us at [email protected] with policy questions.
